BENGALURU: In view of Covid-19, Comed-K UGET/Uni-GAUGE entrance examination 2020 has been rescheduled to June first week. The exam was earlier scheduled for May 10.

The final date of the exam is expected to be announced by May first week. While Comed-K Under Graduate Entrance Test holds key for admissions to B.E/B. Tech courses in 190 colleges affiliated to the Karnataka Professional Colleges Foundation Trust, Uni-GAUGE is an exam for admissions to B.E/B.Tech courses at 31 deemed/private universities pan India. While the counselling process is different, the exam remains the same.

The Consortium of Medical, Engineering and Dental colleges of Karnataka (Comed-K) has decided to extend the last date of application to May 5. The Consortium will also release a series of mock tests to help candidates with preparation. The mock tests will be available on www.comedk.org and www.unigauge.com

The exam will be conducted online at over 158 cities and 400 test centres across India. COMEDK- Uni-GAUGE caters to 100,000 students, 190 institutions and 31 Universities accepting scores, thereby making it the second-largest multi-university private engineering exam in India.

Registration for candidates is at www.comedk.org or www.unigauge.com on or before May 5, 2020. The entire application and exam process will be online. A detailed process guideline on the online exam and application process has been made available to students on www.comedk.org . All candidates who have passed or are currently pursuing 10 +2 /PUC / any equivalent exam as approved by AICTE are eligible to apply for the entrance exam.

Students appearing for Comed-K exam, can participate in common online counselling to seek admission to participating colleges. Whereas, Uni-GAUGE applicants can directly apply to the partner universities/institutions using their score card. Thus far, 45,000 students have registered for Comed-K 2020 and another 16,000 for Uni-GAUGE.
