NEW DELHI: As per the notice available on the official website, Medical Council Committee (MCC) will commence the Round 1 of NEET PG 2020 state counselling today i.e., April 20, 2020. The last date of Round 1 of State PG counselling will be May 4, 2020.

The official notice dated April 17 in this regard instructed that “In reference to the Notice uploaded on MCI website the Round-1 of state PG Counselling will be conducted by States from 20th April till 04th May, 2020.”

MCI had commenced the NEET PG Round 1 counselling Round 1 All India Quota NEET 2020 PG counselling on March 12 and it was scheduled to be completed on April 3, 2020. However, the All India Quota NEET PG Round 1 counselling had to be halted due to the lockdown imposed by the government of India in wake of the COVID 19. After the meeting with MoHFW, Competent authority decided to resume the All India Quota NEET PG Round 1 counselling in view of the number of representations being received from the participating institutes and the candidates for the same.

Hence, the NEET PG 2020 All India Quota counselling resumed on April 9 and the result was published on April 10, 2020. The reporting module for physical or online joining for Round 1 is already in progress from April 13 and the last date for the same is April 24, 2020.

The schedule for Round 2 of All India Quota and State Counselling will be informed later as the lockdown is continuing and physical movement of the students is not possible.
