Bollywood’s superstar Salman Khan’s latest coronavirus-themed song ‘Pyaar Karona’ is here and it is all things impressive.

Don’t be fooled by the title, this one is not a love ballad, but a soothing track with a surprise rap-infused melody. Without sounding too preachy, Salman lays down options for people to spend their time well amidst the coronavirus pandemic. The star also didn’t miss out on giving the tune a patriotic verse with the words of ‘Sare Jahan Se Accha’ as the chorus.

In his impressive rap segment, the star also gives due respect to all frontline workers with the line “Doctors, police ko salute karona!”

The superstar, who has been spending the lockdown in his Panvel farmhouse, took to his social media handles to let all know that he spent his lockdown productively by coming up with this latest track.

The song composed by Sajid-Wajid has lyrics penned by Salman and Hussain Dalal. This one of a kind coronavirus themed song released on the superstar’s YouTube Channel with a description that read, “As India fights COVID-19, let’s join our forces of love and compassion to come out stronger in these times. Here’s presenting ‘Pyaar Karona’ an anthem sung by yours truly for the fight against the deadly Coronavirus pandemic. The song has been made using minimal resources available at my disposal. Listen to the inspiring number and spread the message of love.”

In an exclusive interview with Times Of India, Salman said, “I sang the track and we edited the video here (Panvel), but the music was composed in Mumbai. The lyrics express exactly what I want to tell the world – pyaar karona, madad karona, sabr rakho na.”

He went on to add that “Music is the best remedy in such times as it can help people de-stress.”

Salman also shared a fun fact that the music video was shot on phone cameras.

Apart from coming up with this innovative idea to spread joy and hope, the actor had also pledged financial support to 25,000 daily wage workers from the film industry in the wake of the nationwide lockdown. He has also been taking to social media on a timely basis to keep fans informed about the deadly virus and also warn them the dangers of stepping outside despite the lockdown.
