NEW DELHI: Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission (UPPSC), after lifting the lockdown partially in the state, has issued a notice inviting applications for the posts of – Assistant Conservator of Forest (ACF) and Range Forest Officer (RFO).

The Commission has started the recruitment procedure for ACF and RFO 2020 on its official website. In this regard, a detailed notification will be issued and displayed today on the official website – The application procedure will also begin today i.e., April 21, 2020.

As per the information available, the application fee for the above mentioned posts can be submitted by the candidates up to May 18, 2020 and the application form can then be submitted up to May 21, 2020.

As of now, there are 200 vacancies to be filled through the recruitment process while the number of vacancies may be increased in due course of time.

The UP PSC will release the revised examination calender on May 3, 2020 after the lockdown will be lifted in the state. The actual date for the UPPSC AFC/RFO written examination will be announced in the revised calendar. However, before the Covid-19 pandemic lockdown, the proposed date for the UPPSC AFC & RFO preliminary exam was scheduled to be held on June 21, 2020. It is expected that the Commission is unlikely to change the date of preliminary examination.
